Humanity: The Root of Diversity and the Engine of Innovation

“Many corporations today emphasize diversity in the workplace and society, recognizing its link to innovation and economic growth. Yet, implementation often falls short because we forget one essential truth: real diversity is rooted in humanity, real innovation serves humanity!” Robin Nguyen

Part 9 (final): Moving toward a World of Collaboration, not Dominance

For centuries, the dominance of Yang energy helped build a more modern world, but it also widened the gap between rich and poor, across classes and between nations, fueling conflict and instability. Current diversity and inclusion efforts remain insufficiently human-centered; networks and systems still favor the privileged and perpetuate bias. Humanity, nature, and the environment are not yet central to our values.

The climate is worsening, and the number of underprivileged people and countries seeking help is growing. Many large companies still hire the “right people” for business expansion, often excluding disadvantaged groups and racial minorities. Too much innovation is driven by cost-cutting and short-term profit, with revenue and company valuation prioritized to secure the next sale or funding round.

We must shift toward collaboration rather than dominance—centering human dignity, environmental stewardship, and equitable opportunity in how we design systems, run businesses, and measure success.

With a focus on humanity, diversity, and inclusion, we can move toward a freer, more collaborative world. I admire how people in Vietnam and some other countries do business—every home can be a shop, and many traditional enterprises are preserved. People are independent and cooperative, creating a vibrant, highly diverse community.

Unfortunately, that landscape is changing when large corporations fail to recognize its value. They acquire or shut down small businesses, and dominance grows while independence declines. The result is greater social instability and fewer opportunities for local entrepreneurs.

I hope the world shifts to a new energy that values coordination and collaboration among people, races, and nations, and that independence, tradition, and freedom are restored.
